Sofia Coppola shows off the power of girlish frivolity as expertly as she always has in this super-short teaser for her upcoming movie: The Bling Ring. The teaser is about 40 seconds, but shows all sorts of materialistic thrills and Emma Watson attempting to groove seductively in a LA club.

Leslie Mann will star as Watson's mother (interesting), alongside Taissa Farmiga and Gavin Rossdale. While Kirsten Dunst was rumored to be in the film, she's not currently credited as making an appearance.

Coppola has based this movie on a deliciously lurid tabloid story. The Bling Ring, or the Hollywood Hills Burglars, were a group of teenagers who stalked the homes of celebrities from October 2008 to August 2009, thieving about $3 million worth of swag, jewelry, cash, and clothing—most of it from Paris Hilton. They also pilfered from an "it list" of trendy 2008-2009 stars including Audrina Patridge, Rachel Bilson, Orlando Bloom, Megan Fox, and Lindsay Lohan. According to IMDB, none of these actors has signed up to play themselves.
