Alleged Colombian Cocaine Cartel Leader Arrested in Spain
Spanish law enforcement officials are reporting that they have arrested Hernan Alonso Villa, the alleged leader of a Colombian cocaine cartel. Villa was apprehended while driving along the coast of Spain in Alicante on Friday, police say.
The cartel that Villa is allegedly connected to is apparently responsible for over 400 deaths, the police report says, as well as international drug trafficking and extortion.
