A Kentucky man arrested for shoplifting allegedly tried to get back at the cops by pretending to be a police officer and ordering five Domino's pizzas to the precinct.

Such a classic prank, and so hard to trace! How did they ever suspect the culprit was Michael Harp, the man they had just arrested? For one thing, he was still at the station when the unwanted pizzas showed up.

"While being booked at the police station, officers say Harp asked to make a phone call on his cell phone," WKYT reports, "A little later, police say five pizzas from Domino's were delivered to the station under the name of Officer Wilson, who is the same officer that arrested Harp."

Interesting, but how could they prov—

"Police say they linked the call to Harp by tracking his cell phone number."

Oh.

Despite the evidence, Harp still denies he was the pizza prankster.

"I'm wrongfully accused on this here. They've charged me with two felonies over this pizza deal because I had my phone inside the holding cell," he told a WKYT reporter. "There was about 10 people who probably used the phone, so it's hard to say. Like I said, I never heard anyone say a word about Domino's pizzas. Any of it."

The felonies he's referring to are theft of identity and theft by deception. He's also charged with impersonating a police officer. He says he plans to lawyer up and fight the charges.
