Banksy Says He Took Today Off Due to "Police Activity"
Gee, where is today's daily new Banksy artwork, somewhere in New York City? He's been unveiling a new one every day in October. Not today, though.
On his website, where all of his new works in the city this month have been announced, Banksy (or, you know, whoever runs his website) posted only this today: "Today's art has been cancelled due to police activity."
WHAT DOES IT MEAN? An actual fact, or just the lead-in to some more god damn clever Banksy art tricks? We have no idea. We've asked the NYPD, and we'll update with anything we learn.
In the meantime, here is a timely story about exactly why the NYPD might be hunting down Banksy.
