Earlier this year, Wells Fargo took the courageous stance of acknowledging gay people exist and may want to do business with them, airing this ad featuring a two-mom family. Predictably, evangelist Franklin Graham reacted with the compassion and restraint preached by his Messiah.

Just kidding, he was pissed.

“Have you ever asked yourself–how can we fight the tide of moral decay that is being crammed down our throats by big business, the media, and the gay & lesbian community?” wrote Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, on Facebook last Friday. “Wells Fargo bank is using a same-sex couple in their advertising. And there are more. But it has dawned on me that we don’t have to do business with them. At the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, we are moving our accounts from Wells Fargo to another bank.”

Having discovered the concept of the boycott, Graham then urged others to join him, writing, “Let’s just stop doing business with those who promote sin and stand against Almighty God’s laws and His standards. Maybe if enough of us do this, it will get their attention.”

Unfortunately for Graham, the tendrils of the international homosexual conspiracy run too deep to ever truly escape: As CNN Money notes, the Billy Graham Association’s new bank, the North Carolina-based BB&T, doesn’t just depict gays in commercials but actively supports them as a sponsor of Miami Beach Gay Pride.

Oh well, I’m sure there’s a homophobic mattress or something he can put his money in.
