The Skyhawk ride at Ohio's Cedar Point amusement park was responsible for injuring two patrons on Saturday after a cable snapped and then came into contact with the two guests, ABC5 in Cleveland reports.

The ride, which opened in 2006, was immediately shut down. One of the injured was treated at the scene, while another was taken to a nearby hospital, a spokesperson for the park said. According to the Associated Press, "the Skyhawk has two giant arms that swing riders at speeds of up to 60 mph."

The ride will remain closed until an investigation is completed.
