Court Docs: Subway Jared’s Pedophile Friend Invited Woman to Have Sex With Animal
Russell Taylor, the former director of Jared Fogle’s anti-childhood obesity charity who yesterday pleaded guilty to child pornography charges, once tried to lure a woman to his house to have sex with an animal, according to court documents obtained by the Indy Star.
The investigation into Taylor began last year, after the 44-year-old reportedly offered to send a woman—identified by the Star as Jane Doe—photos of child pornography. He also reportedly asked the woman, who he knew through her late husband and with whom he’d previously been friendly, if she wanted to have sex with an animal at his house. He followed that offer with an apparently unsolicited photo of him having sex with an animal. The animal was not identified by the Star. From the Indy Star:
In one of those text messages, according to the affidavit, “Russell Taylor asked her if he and another adult female she identified could come to Jane Doe’s residence and engage in” an act of bestiality. The woman did not agree to that request, but told investigators “you could tell (Taylor) was serious.” She also told investigators that “she received an image file via text from Russell Taylor that depicted (another act of bestiality).”
Eventually the woman decided she’d had enough and reportedly responded, “I’m not dealing with this anymore. This is going to stop.” Later, at the suggestion of a friend, she contacted police, triggering the investigation that would lead to the arrests of Taylor and Fogle.
Yesterday, Taylor pleaded guilty to 12 counts of child exploitation and one count of distributing and receiving child pornography. Two weeks ago, Fogle pleaded guilty to charges that he had sex with two minors and collected child pornography secretly filmed by Taylor. The former Subway spokesman is also suing Taylor, claiming that he was never repaid the almost $200,000 he loaned Taylor for a new home in 2014.
