Cranberries Singer Allegedly Attacked Flight Attendant, Headbutted Cop
The Cranberries—an Irish band you may remember for the song "Linger," but which has a wealth of other great songs, too!—are fronted by singer Dolores O'Riordan. According to the BBC, O'Riordan allegedly attacked a flight attendant and a police officer on Monday.
O'Riordan allegedly injured the flight attendant's leg or foot during an Aer Lingus flight from New York to Shannon, Ireland. When the plane landed in Shannon, the singer allegedly headbutted the police officer who was put in charge of arresting her, according to TMZ.
Both the flight attendant and the singer were taken to the hospital, and O'Riordan was arrested. The police officer was not seriously hurt.
