For all the ways in which Donald Trump supposedly represents the destruction of the Republican party, the presumptive presidential nominee has toed the line on global warming, deeming himself a nonbeliever even as he’s drifted away from the most hardcore anti-climate change rhetoric. Perhaps unsurprisingly, that all changes when the future of one of his businesses is at stake.

Court Rules Northern Ireland's Insanely Restrictive Abortion Law "Breaches Human Rights"

In a landmark ruling today, the Belfast High Court decided that Northern Ireland’s abortion law is “incompatible with human rights.” Currently, abortion is only legal in cases where the life of the mother is threatened or where there is a “permanent or serious risk to her well-being,” and hospital employees can face life in prison if they are caught providing abortions under any other circumstances.

Ireland Has Legalized Same-Sex Marriage

Though the official tally is still being taken, it appears that Ireland has voted overwhelmingly in favor of legalizing same-sex marriage, the Associated Press reports. Leaders from both sides of the debate have said that the “Yes” voters won—the only thing left to determine is by how much.
