George H.W. Bush, 90, Hospitalized with Shortness of Breath
Former President George H.W. Bush was taken to a Houston hospital by ambulance Tuesday night after experiencing "shortness of breath," the Associated Press reports.
From the Austin American-Statesman:
Spokesman Jim McGrath said in statement that Bush was taken by ambulance to Houston Methodist Hospital on Tuesday evening as a precaution.
McGrath says the 90-year-old Bush "will be held for observation, again as a precaution."
Two years ago, Bush spent almost two months in the same hospital for bronchitis after developing a severe cough.
