In a press conference wrapped only moments ago, New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner admitted to sending inappropriate messages to strange women even months after he resigned from Congress in disgrace.

Flanked by his wife, Huma Abedin, who took the mic briefly in support of her husband (see below), Weiner apologized for his behavior and said his sexting days are "behind" him. He added that he is not dropping out of the race for mayor.

At the conclusion of his statement and a short period in which he answered three questions, Weiner walked out in silence as a reported yelled after him, "Why should we trust your judgment?"
