Hey, Southern California. How hot are you right now? Breaking a sweat? Throwing up from dehydration? Kvetching even in the A/C? Well, at least you aren't a bear. Think about that one.

This little friendly bear guy was so distraught by the recent Southern California heatwave on Sunday that he decided to take a dip in the pool at a Sierra Madre home, all while his equally friendly human friends gawked and sympathized. Man, that bear looked hot under all that fur. Glad he's going for a swim!

The bear was caught on video swimming for fifteen minutes (until cool) and then appeared to head south, perhaps on a mission for bigger pools, deeper lakes.
