On a recent episode of his popular podcast, former Fear Factor and Man Show host and current UFC commentator Joe Rogan defended same-sex marriage against opponents he felt were acting like "weak-ass bitches."

"It’s so stupid that people, in this day and age, decide what two people can’t do because of their sex," Rogan told listeners of the Joe Rogan Experience. "If marriage is legal, OK – and I’m not sure it should be – but if marriage is legal, why shouldn’t it be legal for gay people?"

The crux of Rogan's manly support for marriage equality revolved around an incident from his childhood that took place after he moved from San Francisco to Florida.

After seeing a friend's father lose it over "fags getting married," Rogan recalled thinking how "silly" it was to be outraged over that.

"I remember thinking as an 11-year-old boy, like, ‘Wow, there’s a lot of weak-ass bitches out there posing as men,'" Rogan said. "Like, you dummy. What do you care? What are you, a tough guy ‘cause two guys want to kiss each other? Like, what the fuck is wrong with you? It’s just so stupid! It’s a dumb thing to get behind."
