Jon Stewart Goes on CNN, Compares CNN to a Murderous Living Doll
CNN host and frequent Daily Show guest Fareed Zakaria had Jon Stewart on GPS to talk about his new film, Rosewater, but couldn't resist cornering Stewart into admitting he watches CNN. A pyrrhic victory, considering what Stewart had to say about the network.
He only tunes in to CNN because he keeps hoping it will get better. Right now, it's "very similar to the doll Chucky—sometimes it's good Chucky, but you really gotta watch out for bad Chucky."
It's no Crossfire "stop hurting America" rant, but then again, the Daily Show is basically an extended version of that speech directed at 24-hour cable news. CNN might take his criticism to heart, eventually. Probably sometime after they find that missing plane.
