Add Electric Daisy Carnival and the entire concept of raves, for that matter, to the list of things Judge Judy didn't know about before donning her doily for work one day, and clearly still would rather not know about ( Grindr and e-cigarettes are also recent entries on that list).

On yesterday's new Judge Judy episode, a woman from Las Vegas with face and neck tattoos, fuchsia hair, and eyebrows that looked airbrushed on named Talina Apodoca told Judge Judy she had been "working EDC." Of course she was, but she was also a fool to think Judge Judy would know what she was talking about. As if Judy was going to say, "Oh was it dope? I could only make it out to TomorrowWorld this year..."

"What is that?" asked Judy, of course.

"It's a rave," replied Apodoca like duh.

" WHAT?" yelled Judy.

"A rave."

"A rave?"

And then Judge Judy interrupted Apodoca only to soon return to the topic of raves (or "waves" as Judy decided they were called in the intermission).

"What is a rave?" Judy asked Bailiff Byrd, who often helps her make sense of our brave new world. He called it a party. The defendant called it a "music festival," and Apodoca said it was a "concert." Let's call the whole thing off.

I want to interview Judge Judy and bombard her with questions about modern technology and conveniences, just because I think it would be funny to get screamed at by Judge Judy over and over again for not really doing anything wrong besides living an existence that is inferior to hers.
