The aural plague known as Kidz Bop is unveiling its 24th manifestation next month as part of the kid-friendly compilation's ongoing campaign to rid the world of happiness.
The latest setlist of adult songs scrubbed clean for preteen consumption includes, among others, Macklemore and Lewis's chart topper "Thrift Shop."
The Top 40 hit, which once included such un-kid-friendly lyrics as "what up, I’ve got a big cock," "this is fucking awesome," and "probably should of washed this, smells like R. Kelly's sheets," now features such LOL substitutions as "what up, I’ve got a hit song," "this is really awesome," and "probably shoulda washed this, smells like my baseball cleats."
