While strolling through Manhattan's Upper West Side one warm summer's day, a concerned New Yorker spotted a bike thief casually removing the front tire off a delivery bike that belonged to a local Lenny's location, and then just as casually walking away.

Unlike many who would choose to look the other way, especially in the face of a "giant" with a "tool sticking out of his back pocket," our anonymous hero decided to confront the thief and get him to return the tire to its rightful owner.

Surprisingly, the perp surrendered immediately, but, less surprisingly, he returned to his life of bike crime almost as quickly.

Happily, "Bike Ninja" wasn't quite done unleashing justice.
