Court documents filed Wednesday by the U.S. Attorney's Office in their case against accused Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev included the note he wrote while hiding from police in a family's boat.

In the note, Tsarnaev writes of his brother, Tamerlan, who was killed in the days following the bombing. Per WHDH:

"I do not mourn because his soul is very much alive. God has a plan for each person. Mine was to hide in this boat and shed some light on our actions."

Tsarnaev went on to write "...we Muslims are one body, you hurt one you hurt us all... know you are fighting men who look into the barrel of your gun and see heaven, now how can you compete with that."

Additionally, NBC News reports that prosecutors are attempting to preserve previous testimony by Tsarnaev that his lawyers are now trying to have dismissed:

The court documents cited by WHDH were filed Wednesday by prosecutors opposing a motion from the Tsarnaev's lawyers to suppress statements he made at the time of his arrest, claiming he had made them under duress.

During those interviews, court documents allege, Tsarnaev "readily admitted involvement" in the bombings and remained "responsive, coherent, and clearheaded" throughout the questioning.

WHDH also reports that the court documents reveal that the U.S. Attorney's Office has asked the judge to deny Tsarnaev's motion that the death penalty be ruled unconstitutional.
