Yo, the "context-based" messaging app that has already landed $1 million in funding for each of the one words it can send ("yo"), has crossed the desk of Stephen Colbert, and he is not impressed. His extremely concise review: "Y?"

Why indeed? But Colbert is a Serious Journalist, not one to dismiss things without trying them. To that end, he decided to see exactly how much two people can say to one another using only the word "yo."

"Don't be so arrogant to think that Yo can't make you eat your words," the app's biggest investor told Valleywag yesterday.

Fortunately for Colbert, the only word he'll have to eat if this ridiculous thing catches on is "yo."
