Despite his better judgment, Adrien Brody hasn't given up on the interview circuit, sharing the first of his shameless, wholly partial Oscar picks and remembrances at last night's premiere of his new film Cadillac Records.

Oscar-winning Halle-smacker and notorious pressophobe Adrien Brody agreed to sit down with The Advocate for one of their Big Gay Following interviews—saucy, cheeky affairs that usually elicit a juicy pullquote or two. Well, after luring in the actor with a string of resume questions so obscure they would make James Lipton blush, the interviewer then went in for the kill. But Brody wasn't biting. Then things got really awkward, really quickly:

What's it like to live the life of Oscar winner Adrien Brody? Apparently, it pays enough to buy your actress girlfriend Elsa Pataky (Snakes on a Plane) an enormous castle in upstate New York, but not quite enough to keep you from opening up the doors to said castle to Hello! magazine for some extra coin. At least, that's the conclusion we came to after a perusal of the magazine's 35-page spread that includes shots of Brody and Pataky so cheesy that even Spencer and Heidi would turn away in white-hot shame. Won't you come inside with us and take a tour?

What do you buy the girl that has everything? Last year Adrien Brody gifted his girlfriend, Spanish actress Elsa Pataky, the Stone Barn Castle in Cleveland, NY, in honor of her 31st birthday. Now the 19th-century chateau has been completely renovated—with interiors by Giorgio Armani, naturally—and the couple is moving in. (And posing for silly photo shoots in front of it, it seems.)
