• Retired investment banker E. Stephen Benson has sold his penthouse at 885 Park Avenue, albeit for about $5 million less than what he was hoping to sell it for last year. The two-bedroom co-op with wrap-around terrace (left), which was originally listed for $13 million before Benson sliced the price four times, sold for $7.65 million to Capstone Advisory Group exec Robert Manzo and his wife Cynthia. • Attorney Bruce Kaye and his wife Deborah have found a buyer for their two-bedroom condo at 15 CPW. The 32nd-floor apartment, which the Kayes bought for $7.8 million last July and put back on the market for $11.9 million in April, went into contract last week. [Cityfile, MRP]
• More moves at the Plaza: Oscar Schafer, managing partner of OSS Capital Management, has gone into contract to sell his 17th-floor apartment, which had been listed most recently at $12.5 million. • After ten months and three price cuts, financier and philanthropist Eli Broad has decided to take his full-floor apartment at the Sherry-Netherland off the market. Vogue creative director Grace Coddington has sold her West Village apartment nearly a year after picking up a loft in Chelsea. The buyer of the condo, which Coddington bought back in 1987: Josephine de la Baume, the model, actress and girlfriend of Mark Ronson, who paid $1.45 million for the 1,100-square-foot apartment. • Investor Derek Quinlan has lowered the price of his mansion at 20 East 64th Street. The 13,000-square-foot home, which Quinlan bought from investment banker Roberto de Guardiola and his wife Joanne for $26.25 million in 2006 and put on the market with Dolly Lenz and Monique Silberman for $37 million in April, is now priced at $32 million. • Publishing heir Robert Ziff has dropped the price of his three-bedroom condo at the Trump International. The 41st-floor pad, which Ziff picked up for $5 million back in 2001 before moving to 720 Park a couple of years later, first went on the market for $13 million in July 2008. • Selling the triplex penthouse at 895 Park that once belonged to the late producer Charles Evans hasn't been easy. The co-op's board, led by real estate developer Dan Brodsky, has turned down an offer for the third time. A Discount on Fifth, Calypso Founder Cuts Again

• G. Kelly Martin, CEO of the drugmaker Elan and the former president of Merrill Lynch's International Private Client Group, has lowered the price of his duplex at 1040 Fifth Avenue. The 10-room spread, which Martin and wife Elizabeth Ann paid "between $2 million and $2.5 million" to acquire back in 1994, originally went on the market for $12.9 million in February. Another Big Listing Surfaces at 15 CPW

• Beny Alagem, the Israeli-born founder of Packard Bell Electronics and now the owner of the Beverly Hills Hilton, has put his 15th-floor condo at 15 CPW on the market. The three-bedroom apartment, which Alagem and his wife Adele bought for $15.4 million in April 2008, is listed for $24 million. [Cityfile, BHS]
• Dr. Athanase Lavidas, the chief executive of the Greek pharmaceutical company Lavipharm Group, has re-listed his massive apartment at 2 East 67th Street six months after taking it off the market. • Real estate mogul and former WorldCom director Francesco Galesi still hasn't managed to find a buyer for his 16-room River House duplex, more than four years after first listing it for $50 million. Friday morning special: Goldman Sachs chairman and CEO Lloyd Blankfein and his wife Laura have finally put their old apartment at 941 Park Avenue on the market. The couple paid $27 million for an apartment at 15 Central Park West in 2007, and settled into their new digs last year. But the couple's old apartment on Park just hit the market today. The five-bedroom duplex, which is listed with Sotheby's Royce Pinkwater for $15 million, comes with grand foyer, 30-foot living room with wood burning fireplace, paneled library, formal dining room, master bedroom suite with office and two baths, two maid's rooms, and bath and laundry area. John Paulson (Finally) Sells in Southampton

• Billionaire financier John Paulson has finally unloaded his house in Southampton, albeit for about $10 million less than he'd hoped to sell it for. The 7,000-square-foot home, which Paulson picked up for $12.75 million in 2006 and put up for sale for $19.5 million in 2008 before later dropping the price twice, just sold to an anonymous buyer for $9.99 million. • Karen and David Fleiss are cutting prices again at 1030 Fifth Avenue. The couple, who have tried just about everything to sell the 16-room duplex they first listed for $47.5 million last June (including dividing the apartment in two), have reduced the price of the bottom-floor unit from $11 million to $9.95 million. Bob Weinstein Lists, Michael Steinhardt Sells

Bob Weinstein and his wife Annie Clayton are reportedly looking for a buyer for their five-bedroom apartment at the Beresford. The 6,500-square-foot duplex is "quietly" being offered for "around $34 million" by Brown Harris Stevens broker Ileen Schoenfeld. No need to worry about the couple being homeless if they manage to unload the apartment: In addition to a townhouse on West 70th Street, which they picked up for in May for $15 million, the Weinsteins also own a one-bedroom on West 67th Street and a condo at Astor Place. Richard Gere Cuts, Morgan Stanley's Ex-CFO Sells

Richard Gere and Carey Lowell have sliced $1.6 million off the asking price of their seven-bedroom farmhouse in Water Mill. Priced at $8.8 million when it first went on the market in February, the 1.2-acre estate is now listed for $7.2 million. The pricecutting isn't restricted to the Hamptons, however. Rupert Murdoch's Centre Island estate is back on the market. The 11-bedroom Rosehearty mansion, which Murdoch and wife Wendi Deng pulled off the market last October, has been re-listed with Dolly Lenz for $12.8 million. The five-acre estate isn't sitting empty while the couple wait for a buyer, though: As Newsday first reported back in April—and as this week's New York confirms—Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are renting it for more than $100,000 a month. Mel Gibson's Greenwich Estate: Bring Your Exorcist

Mel Gibson is about to go through a messy divorce, which explains why in recent weeks he's slashed nearly $10 million off the price of his vast estate in Greenwich. Originally priced at $39.5 million, the 15,800-square-foot "Elizabethan-inspired Tudor mansion" is now available for $29.75 million. The 75-acre property comes with lots of extras, including a terraced pool, tennis court, greenhouse, stable, staff houses, log cabin and stream-fed pond. The downside? Unless prospective bidders happen to be devoutly Catholic or just die-hard fans of The Da Vinci Code, they'll have to plan on spending millions more freshening up the spooky, church-like home.
