According to reports, 13 children were injured, including two seriously injured, on a swing ride at the Oyster Festival at Veterans Memorial Park in Norwalk, Connecticut this afternoon. Children with minor injuries were treated and released at the scene, but the more seriously injured were transferred to Norwalk, Stamford, and Bridgeport hospitals.
An American Airlines flight bound for Miami was forced to conduct an emergency landing Saturday after a row of seats succumbed to the salsa rhythms of its heart and started slip-slidin' around the interior of the aircraft to a throbbing Latin beat.
Meanwhile, in Australia, an ultralight plane has flown—quite literally—into a ferris wheel, requiring the rescue of four people—the plane's two passengers and two kids who were on the ride. No one was hurt, except for anyone who might have been wanting to go on the ferris wheel and now will not be able to do so.
