Last night David Letterman's Late Show welcomed a special cameo by one of television's favorite fathers. Here's Homer Simpson reminding us of the things we've learned over the past double-decade, and a declaration exposing the irony in such a statement.

The great "Jay Leno Show" experiment has failed. NBC will likely move Leno back to the 11:30 slot he had improbably dominated for more than a decade. Conan gets screwed. Which is weird, because this is completely Jay Leno's fault.

This NBC late-night shakeup has a shell game quality to it: The Times' Media Decoder now reveals this new lineup, which would possibly be unveiled after NBC's Olympics coverage finishes February 28th. Hey, look: Conan's still there!

But it seems Conan O'Brien had the nerve to mock the lovely city of Newark on his show last week and now Mayor Cory Booker has retaliated by adding Conan to Newark Airport's no-fly list.
