Conan announced that he refuses be pushed back to the 12:05 slot, essentially ending his tenure at NBC. He cited NBC not giving his show the chance to grow. Which got us thinking, what other shows were prematurely snuffed out?

Now that beloved carrot-top Conan O'Brien has gone and laid a gentle smack down on NBC for their time-shifting late night foxtrot, what are some ways he could fuck over the (already so fucked) network? Let's imagine some possibilities.

Today at Gawker.TV, a full episode of Conan O'Brien's failed pilot Lookwell, Better Off Ted's filthy gag reel, CSI: Miami retold with the help of Tracy Jordan, How I Met Your Mother's musical letdown, and Morgan Freeman weighs in on Conan.

Lookwell doesn't often find itself in front of an audience because it was only aired once. The struggling King of Late Night was the brains behind the Adam West vehicle alongside Robert Smigel, the voice of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog.

Conan O'Brien has finally said "enough." The Tonight Show host is abandoning his gig rather than move it to midnight. O'Brien's blunt statement reflects months of being jerked around at NBC.

Sure, for most of you, it was the monologue you were dying to see... but for others, for the die hards on Team Conan, the show didn't pay off until a few minutes in.

NBC's late-night mess just got a little messier. Conan O'Brien says he is not willing to bump his show to 12:05am, since doing so "will seriously damage what I consider to be the greatest franchise in the history of broadcasting." Everyone is familiar with Morgan Freeman's soothing, authoritative voice. That's why Colbert had Freeman read blatantly untrue statements in his most trustworthy voice. One of those statements? That Conan could keep his 11:30 time slot. Ha!

You've laughed at Conan's withering monologue takedowns of NBC and Jay Leno. But Fox is really serious about wanting Conan on their network. It's too bad an almost hilarious contract oversight might rob Conan of his $45 million breach-of-contract award.

Conan O'Brien has officially gone rogue. On the heels of Friday's unusually harsh monologue, O'Brien went after the network that screwed him even harder tonight. Also: David Letterman and Craig Ferguson chimed in with some NBC/Leno digs of their own.

The Jay Leno Show opened moments ago with more statements from the host regarding its cancellation and possible move to the 11:35 PM time slot currently occupied by Conan O'Brien, including confirmation of O'Brien's displeasure with the situation.

• NBC finally confirmed yesterday that it's canceling Jay Leno's 10pm show and moving him back to late-night. Whether Conan O'Brien stays at the network or jumps to Fox remains an open question for now. [NYT, TMZ, NYP]
• More bad news for NBC: The network expects to lose money broadcasting the Winter Olympics from Vancouver later this year, which would be a first. [NYT]

• TV news: NBC has ordered six new drama pilots for the fall now that the network is moving Jay Leno out of primetime; CBS reports it's close to signing David Letterman and Craig Ferguson to new contracts; and Fox is renewing Glee for a second season, which should come as a surprise to no one.
• Simon Cowell wasn't kidding when he said he was leaving American Idol? He'll depart the show after the current season to host The X Factor on Fox. [LAT]
• As many as 1,200 AOL employees could get pink-slipped this week. [NYT]
• Avatar continues to rake it in. The movie was No. 1 for a fourth straight weekend and has now grossed $1.34 billion around the world. [MTV]

The 1996 made-for-HBO movie holds nothing back in dissecting NBC's first late night debacle. As Leno pushes for a sequel, it's a certain red-headed Irishman that has the most to gain from giving this film another inspection.

• A photographer says he plans to file a lawsuit against Lindsay Lohan after her driver "nearly killed" him in a hit-and-run accident on Sunday. The paparazzo says he's "lucky to be alive" and now plans to make sure Lindsay "goes to jail" for her crimes despite the fact LiLo wasn't even the one driving, and the photographer only injured his wrist and never even had to go to the hospital. • Have Derek Jeter and Minka Kelly set a date? According to the Post, which conducted an undercover investigation last week, the couple are planning to get married in November at the Oheka Castle on Long Island, which is where Kevin Jonas got married recently. [NYP]
• Another Beyoncé concert is stirring up controversy. Less than two weeks after she got into trouble for performing for Hannibal Khadafy comes the news that residents of Trinidad are up in arms over a $1 million Beyoncé concert planned for February 18. Locals claim it will divert from the country's annual Carnival celebration. [Sun]

In an article written with somewhat weaker language than its headline, the Post reports that Conan is "ready to fly the coop" (plus other peacock jokes) over Leno's decision to steal his time slot. Of Leno and the network, their anonymous source says, "This level of shittiness was not expected." [NYP]

Now that Leno's move back to 11:30 is official, all eyes are Conan: Will he suck it up and helm the "Tonight Show" at midnight or make the move to another network? Variety says he is 'not happy'. Duh.
