In a blood and slime-soaked retelling of the death of Gram Parsons, a new lawsuit accuses metal band GWAR of stealing recently deceased singer David Brockie's property, including his guitars, artwork and—perhaps most significantly—cremated remains.

Dave Brockie aka Oderus Urungus, former frontman of thrash metal band GWAR, was given his second memorial at Friday's annual GWAR-B-Q in the only way appropriate: by having his costume lit on fire and set out into the middle of Hadad's Lake in Virginia. Brockie died of a heroin overdose in March this year.

Dave Brockie, better known as GWAR frontman Oderus Urungus, was found dead in his Richmond, Va. home Sunday night, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reports.
