The human resources department at Fox News has certainly been busy the last few weeks. After dumping former Bill Clinton campaign manager-cum-conservative blowhard Dick Morris and Real Housewife of Wasilla Sarah Palin, Fox has signed on a slate of brand new contributors to wax political on the news of the day. Let's get to know them.
Though it might not look it, Fox News has learned a lesson or two from last month's presidential election.
At the end of October, disgraced former Clinton adviser turned Fox News contributor Dick Morris predicted Mitt Romney was going to win in a landslide. "Pollster John McLaughlin and I went through the actual results of the last four elections and on average, the Republicans had 1 percent more than the Democrats," Morris said in an interview with Bill O'Reilly about the New York Times' poll. "So that poll is off by a factor of 8. So instead of Obama winning by 1, Romney would win Florida by 7."
The pundits over at Fox News spent most of the GOP primary season talking about how Mitt Romney wasn't conservative enough to win the nomination and now that he has all but won it, they've had to drastically change their tune. On tonight's Daily Show, Jon Stewart called out three pundits in particular and also unveiled a killer Dick Morris impression.

Dick Morris's political career ended when a British tabloid busted him sucking the toes of a prostitute and allowing her to listen in on his calls with then-President Bill Clinton. That was 12 years ago and would be of little consequence now except that Morris has reportedly just taken a job writing a weekly column called "Political Animal" for Playboy.com. One would expect a salacious gossip section like the Post's Page Six would make a fun little jab over the new gig and the way it recalls Morris' racy past. But then one would remember that Morris leans conservative, appears regularly on Post corporate sibling Fox News Channel and writes a weekly column for the Post itself. Then the tabloid's tame little item about the job makes perfect sense.
Where did John Edwards and Rielle Hunter have their first romantic interlude? At the Loews Regency Hotel on Park Avenue, which happens to be one of Edwards favorite hotels in town. (We're guessing, however, that the hotel's owner, Jonathan Tisch, won't be including this little fact in the official hotel brochure in the near future.) But Edwards isn't the only married man who picked the five-star property to carry on behind his wife's back.
