Good news, sporting enthusiasts: while "real" sports like football and baseball remain popular among the American public, there are indications that other, wacker sports seem to be falling out of favor.

Dick's Sporting Goods, which promised to suspend sales of modern sporting rifles "out of respect" for the victims of the Newtown massacre has found a profit-friendly loophole. The company is instead selling AR-15 style rifles, including the Bushmaster used by Adam Lanza, at its new spin-off Field & Stream.
