Dick's Sporting Goods, which promised to suspend sales of modern sporting rifles "out of respect" for the victims of the Newtown massacre has found a profit-friendly loophole. The company is instead selling AR-15 style rifles, including the Bushmaster used by Adam Lanza, at its new spin-off Field & Stream.
Sounds like they weren't lying. What dicks.
Well that's a dick move of them.
Out of respect for the dead instead of out of a desire to protect the living.
This does live up to their promise... but they should be more forthright about it. They should never have stopped selling the rifles to begin with, and it would be more respectable if they admitted it - and brought them back to Dick's.
