Do you believe in ghosts? The dance-craze video for Psy's "Gangnam Style" has become the first YouTube video to ever reach 2 billion views. The only video to ever come close is Justin Bieber's "Baby," with a meager 1 billion views.

Yesterday, a YouTube playlist unlike any other graced the internet with its presence. That playlist is Psybrid Theory, a reimagining of Linkin Park's first album, Hybrid Theory, using the vocals from "Gangnam Style." Yes, it's exactly as amazing as it sounds.

The musician Claire Boucher, better known as Grimes, is responsible for one of last year's most acclaimed indie albums, Visions. This morning, she posted an essay on her Tumblr regarding her pop-filled best-of 2012 music list. In it, she praised Beyoncé ("She is everything good"), "Gangam Style" mastermind Psy ("Psy is a genius and I don't think it's so terrible that he's been recognized for this") and Mariah Carey ("The first time I heard Mariah Carey it shattered the fabric of my existence and I started Grimes").

If you were counting down to "Gangnam Style"'s one billionth YouTube view on the site BillionCount.com, you might have been a little confused at what happened when the counter hit 1,000,000,000: it turned into a porn site: the "Xpress Cougar Dating Club." "When it was getting closer to 1 billion views I figured I had to do something with it," the site's creator told us.

With "Gangnam Style" only days away from becoming the first YouTube video to reach one billion views (and potentially triggering the end of the world), YouTube has released its annual look back at the year that was, and it probably wouldn't surprise you to learn that it pays major homage to the K-pop phenomenon.

"Gangnam Style" is the year's biggest viral dance sensation. Now it's also its most deadly — and not because it drove someone insane from overexposure. A 46-year-old man attempting the dance — created and popularized by Korean rapper Psy — at his office party collapsed with chest pains and died over the weekend, prompting a warning from a cardiologist:
