Banker Sells on East 80th; Big Buy at One York

• Tom Flexner, a former vice chairman of Bear Stearns who joined Citigroup in April of 2008 to oversee its global real estate investment banking business, has closed on the sale of his four-story townhouse at 136 East 80th Street. The three-bedroom home, which Flexner first listed for $12 million last July with broker Kirk Henckels, and which went into contract to sell in May, sold to one Regan Fitzpatrick for $8.3 million. • Real estate investor Michael Hirtenstein has paid $16.8 million for five units on three floors of the Enrique Norten-designed One York, which he's planning to combine and use as a place to host "philanthropic events." [NYP]

Julianne Moore Lists, Emeril Lagasse Trades Up

Julianne Moore's West Village townhouse is up for sale. Moore picked up the five-story, six-bedroom home on West 11th Street for $3.5 million in 2003. It can now be yours for $11.95 million. [NYO, Sotheby's, Curbed]
• Emeril Lagasse has closed on the purchase of developer Penny Bradley's 6,900-square-foot townhouse at 158 East 61st Street for "around" its most recent asking price of $11.5 million. Now that he's found a new place to store his pots and pans, the chef and Food Network fixture has put his condo at the Beekman Regent up for sale for $5.995 million. [NYP, BHS]
• Chris Burch, the entrepreneur and ex-husband of Tory Burch, has picked up a new Hamptons home. Burch paid "around $9 million" for the Southampton estate of disgraced Bear Stearns exec Ralph Cioffi. The property had been listed at $10.7 million when it went into contract last month. [NYP]

Murdoch Re-Lists, Julia Roberts Rents in the Village

Rupert Murdoch's Centre Island estate is back on the market. The 11-bedroom Rosehearty mansion, which Murdoch and wife Wendi Deng pulled off the market last October, has been re-listed with Dolly Lenz for $12.8 million. The five-acre estate isn't sitting empty while the couple wait for a buyer, though: As Newsday first reported back in April—and as this week's New York confirms—Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are renting it for more than $100,000 a month. • Norman Reedus—the actor, model, and father of Helena Christensen's son Mingus—has paid $1.75 million for a two-bedroom loft in the Machinery Exchange building at 136 Baxter St. [Cityfile]
• Julia Roberts is renting two apartments at 1 Morton Square this summer while she's in NYC to film Eat, Pray, Love. She's reportedly paying a combined $50,000-a-month for the two pads, one of which is for her nanny and staff. [P6]

Astor Home Back on the Market, Now Just $29 Million

• Brooke Astor's former duplex at 778 Park has returned to the market, two weeks after the Corcoran's Leighton Candler took down the listing. Stribling's Kirk Henckels is now offering the sprawling co-op for $29 million, which is $17 million less than it was first offered for when it hit the market last year. [Cityfile, Stribling]
• It looks like the rumor was true: Disgraced Fairfield Greenwich Group executive Charles Murphy has put his townhouse at 7 East 67th Street on the market for $37 million. Sotheby's Serena Boardman has the listing. [Cityfile, Sotheby's]
