Sgt. Sean Murphy, the Massachusetts State Police tactical photographer who took the just-published photos of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's capture, has been relieved of duty. The announcement was made just hours after Murphy provided Boston Magazine with hundreds of photos from the manhunt.

The City of Boston is very unhappy with Rolling Stone's decision to feature Marathon Bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on its August 1 cover, so unhappy that a long list of New England-tied retailers have refused to stock the issue. As of today, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's former college, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, has joined the boycott.

Cameron D’Ambrosio is the Massachusetts teenager and amateur rapper who was rather outrageously charged with terroristic threats last month after referencing the Boston Marathon Bombing in lyrics he’d posted on Facebook. On Wednesday, a Grand Jury declined to indict D’Ambrosio; yesterday, the high-school senior was finally released to his family on his own personal recognizance. This was after the 18-year-old spent more than a month locked up and less than 10 days after a Massachusetts Superior Court judge denied a bail request.
