Simpsons/Futurama creator Matt Groening has decided to end his long-running comic strip Life in Hell after over thirty years in print.

In response to the brouhaha that ensued following Simpsons creator Matt Groening's "revelation" that Springfield is "located" in his home state of Oregon, tonight's episode featured a chalkboard gag which aims to re-shroud the town's coordinates in mystery.

In an interview published in the latest issue of Smithsonian magazine, Simpsons creator Matt Groening has finally revealed the long-debated location of Springfield.

Fry and company got meta tonight with a trip to a 31st century comic-con. It's been a whole millennium, and not much has changed. Apparently, Matt Groening will continue getting way too many Simpsons questions, and Fox still sucks.
