Troll Doll-Loving Woman Talks and Flirts Like a Troll Doll

Rich Juzwiak · 05/09/13 01:15PM

This 38-year-old gymnastics instructor was profiled on last night's season finale of My Crazy Obsession for her Troll doll affinity. She goes by the name of Michelle Kerrins, but she is such a Shelly. Her obsession is amusing enough, but it's really her delivery that makes her story so riveting (her "Troll 2" license plate doesn't hurt either). Forget the cartoon adaptations, this woman speaks like a Troll doll should speak, her helium-filled peanut shell of a voice enthusing things like, "They're in all my crevices!" and "I like the odd things in life." Oh, me too, Shelly. Me too.

Vietnamese Centipede-Eating Is The Grossest Thing I've Seen on TLC

I'm going with my gut here because I've seen a lot of fucked-up practices on TLC, but this clip of the cooking and eating of a potentially deadly Vietnamese centipede from last night's My Crazy Obsession is absolutely the most disgusting thing I've seen on the channel yet. It's worse than the woman who drank almost all of the urine that came of of her body. It's worse than the family that used (and reused) washcloths instead of toilet paper. It's worse than sketti.

Crazy Cat People Have Nothing on Crazy Squirrel People

Kelly Foxton estimates that she has spent over half a million dollars taking care of and, most importantly, dressing her squirrel Sugar Bush in various insane outfits that include gowns and faux furs. (You probably saw pictures of Sugar Bush — or one of the 5 squirrels named Sugar Bush that Foxton has owned over the years — on the Internet in the early 2000s, back before we invented the word "viral.") She shared her story on last night's episode of TLC's My Crazy Obsession, during which she said, "People think I'm nuts and I don't care because I know I'm not. I have a 156 IQ, I don't think that's nuts." Mmmm, jury's out, but choosing the word "nuts" to describe your mental state in a television segment about squirrels seems, at least, wacky.

'Wearing a Diaper is Like Getting a Big Hug From Mom,' Says Adult Baby

Leah Beckmann · 03/20/12 02:46PM

The acme in fascinating human behavior channels, TLC's My Crazy Obsession is yet another series that showcases...oh, let's call them "odd" habits. This episode features Stanley, 31-year-old man obsessed with being an adult baby. Stanley has spent much of the last eighteen years clothed in footie pajamas and wearing a diaper. For eight to ten hours a day.
