The New York Times buyouts are done, leaving only a round of layoffs to get up to 100 staff cuts before the year's end. In January, the paper will be a different place. A look at what was lost, below.

We've added several new names to our New York Times Buyout List this morning.

John Koblin reports that Jennifer 8. Lee, New York Times Metro reporter, Twitter enthusiast, and master of the trend story, is taking a buyout. Shocking. Below, an internal staff memo that went out this afternoon honoring the Metro section's departed.

• Tavi, the 13-year-old blogger who's transfixed the fashion world, is writing a column for Harper's Bazaar; a bit of controversy has followed. [WWD, NYM]
• Great news! R. Kelly has signed a deal to pen his memoirs. [Vulture]
• Even better news: ABC has a reality show debuting in January that combines dating and romance with a "moving conveyor belt." It's about time! [Wrap]

The good news: Unemployment dropped slightly last month, to 10%. The bad news: 4,200 print publishing workers were laid off just in November and 86,800 have lost their jobs in the past 12 months.

Google's CEO writes in the Wall Street Journal that "frustrated newspaper executives are looking for someone to blame" for their decline, but they shouldn't blame him: His "fantasy news gadget" makes you pay for access to the goods. Freak.
