This Toddler's Birthday Message for Her Mommy Is a Gift of Pure Joy
With his wife's birthday coming up in a hurry, Dan Konkel had to come up with something special, and fast.
So he quickly organized a brainstorming session with the best — and cutest — birthday present expert he could find: His two-year-old daughter, Claire.
"Usually my wife's birthday is a pretty big deal so I try to do something new," the stay-at-home NJ dad told Good Morning America.
A professional photographer by trade, filming a special birthday video was a no-brainer — and, once again, Claire's expertise in adorability and heartmeltitude were put to good use.
"I sat her down in the living room and we had a conversation for about 40 minutes about Mommy and toys and food," Konkel recalled.
The result was an achingly sweet minute-and-a-half ode to the "best mommy ever."
Konkel stealthy implanted the video in his wife's iPad and labeled it "hey, watch me."
"She said it was the best birthday present she ever got," said Konkel, who now needs to spend the next 365 days coming up with something better.
