A man in Connecticut was charged with "breach of peace and threatening" after he allegedly grabbed a mop out of a hotel worker's hands and mopped aggressively all over the woman's shoes. The accused man apparently never learned how stupid and annoying mopping is or else he'd never have committed this crime.

The Associated Press reports that 30-year-old John Thornton was arrested Wednesday night after his act of aggression and chore stupidity. Via the AP:

Officers responding to the Bristol hotel were told a man had become "unruly," grabbed the mop and swept it back and forth over the woman's shoes. When the employee asked the man to stop, police say he turned his back and pushed her into a corner. Police say the woman was shaken and crying.

Authorities also reported that Thornton yelled obscenities and insults at officers when they came to arrest him. He was released on $20,000 bond, and hopefully has since learned his lesson about trying too hard to clean the floors.
