Vanilla Ice Arrested for Allegedly Cleaning Out a Vacant Florida Home
Alright, stop, collaborate and listen: Ice is back with a brand new burglary charge for allegedly plundering an abandoned South Florida home near a place he was renovating for his reality TV show, The Vanilla Ice Project.
Something (the police) grabbed ahold of Ice (real name Rob VanWinkle) tightly after the owner of the house reported that items including a pool heater, furniture, and bicycles had been stolen from the unused home in December, TMZ reports. A search warrant turned up some of the missing stuff on Ice's property, and police say it's been returned to the owner.
"VanWinkle is currently working with investigators and will be charged when he is booked at the county jail," ABC News reports.
They add that "it is unclear whether [the property Ice allegedly burglarized] is affiliated with [his] show." It would be slightly ironic if so: elaborate security systems are one of the upgrades he provides for the Florida homes he remodels.
