Please don't remind me that I can only by booze at the "package store." I was in Michigan recently and nearly pissed myself at the selection of beer, wine and alcohol in a typical Meijer.
I was never more furious than I was when I discovered I couldn't get beer in gas stations down here. Or supermarkets. I was even more furious when I found out that I'd have to go over the bridge into Chelsea if I wanted to get a grape flavored blunt wrap.

The first time I was out of state after turning 21 was at my cousin's wedding (again in Michigan) and we stopped to pick up cigarettes at a 7-11. I walk in and there is just a massive wall of hard liquor. I turned to my other cousin and she said there were tears in my eyes and I was making that sad puppy face. I could not believe that was allowed!
To be fair, the whole "beer in a gas station" thing does make me a little leery. I mean, I get it; the best beer selection near my dad's house is at a gas station. It just seems a lot like tempting fate.
Most gas stations have convenience stores attached to them now a days. But yeah, it does seem odd, if you think about it.

I mean really that's the only thing that's preventing Wal-Mart from being true "one stop shopping" for their usual clientele.
Guns and Ammo? Check.
XXXXL Mickey Mouse and/or Nascar T-shirts? Check.
Plastic American flags made in China? Check.
Yep, beer is the next obvious step in Walmart's domination of cracker-trash consumerism.

I'm sure Natty Ice, Bud Lime, and Mike Hard Lemonade (not beer, but sold in same section) lovers are thrilled about this.
Mikes Hard Lemonade is technically a 'flavored malt beverage' or FMB much like a Brooklyn Chocolate Stout is a FMB.
Why not. I go to Walmart for my anti-depressants anyway.
Beer (all alcohol) is technically a depressant so you'll be at net zero.
