The Golden Globes after-parties at the Beverly Hills Hilton were overcrowded like a Tokyo subway car, but that didn't stop the crack security staff at the Miramax party from preventing an incursion by an evil impostor:

Bob Weinstein had trouble getting into the Miramax party. But so did someone else with the name Robert Weinstein, according to his driver's license. (That one had the nerve to berate a Miramax employee: "I'm Bob Weinstein. You have to let me in!") The real Bob Weinstein eventually got into the party. The other one, no relation, didn't.

In a Solomon-like move, the quick-thinking gatekeeper asked the Fauxstein to strangle a nearby clipboard-clutching assistant to death. When the charlatan refused, it was obvious he wasn't the real deal.
