A youth-focused social networking site is looking for Managing Editor to drive the vision, tone and direction of a new web destination. This is a great opportunity to both step into a role as Managing Editor as well as to learn first hand how to make user generated content work. Goal is to inspire and foster a community where teen women can talk with and learn from each other. Editor will have primary responsibility to oversee user generated content and where necessary supplement this by creating new content or sourcing third party content. Should also be able to conceive and execute new ideas for Sponsorships or alliances. Must be highly organized and creative, an excellent editor with the ability to lead and implement a vision for the site, a team player who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and under deadlines.
