Heidi Klum Leaves the Village, For Now
- Project Runway hostess Heidi Klum is leaving her Bank Street pad, now that the deal to sell her penthouse has officially closed. Although the $5.35 million sale price is less than the $5.6 million the apartment was rumored to be going for, the two-bedroom was too small to fit her (rapidly expanding) family, who will remain in LA for the time being.
- Former Goldman Sachs chief strategist Abby Joseph Cohen is moving from her narive Queens to Manhattan. She paid $7.5 million for an eight-room apartment ont he 7th floor of the Majestic last month, which makes her a new neighbor of Conan O'Brien, Marian Goodman, and Norman Siegel. [Observer]
- Theater director/producer Andre Bishop picked up a three-story Yorkville townhouse for $3.775 million this week. The 2,700-square-foot home has a history in the theater: It was formerly owned by Broadway greats Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne.
- Yet another River House apartment has gone on the market. Laura Pels' 13-room condo, which features a library, a 30-foot long living room, double maid's room, and two balconies overlooking the East River, is listed for $29 million.
