Pete Rojas Buys On Lower East Side
- Web entrepreneur (and blog cover boy) Pete Rojas is moving to 7 Essex Street. The founding editor of Gizmodo, former editor of Engadget, and founder of RCRD LBL is paying $1.584 million for a two-bedroom unit with "treetop views of Seward Park." The seller was Nancy Yao, a managing director at the Council on Foreign Relations.
- NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has purchased an apartment at 180 East End Avenue. The three-bedroom co-op with a terrace overlooking the East River had been listed for $2.725 million.
- British producer Judy Craymer paid $8.995 million for a two-bedroom unit in The Plaza, where she'll join the likes of Jimmy Cayne, Jocelyne Wildenstein, and Tommy Hilfiger. It will likely be a pied-à-terre, since she spends most of her time in England.
