Actors Clean Up at Emmys; Mischa Gets Even Messier
• 30 Rock and Mad Men took home Emmys last night for outstanding comedy series and outstanding drama series, respectively. (Surprise, surprise.) Alec Baldwin won for outstanding actor in a comedy series; Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston won for outstanding actor in a drama series; Glenn Close won for best actress in a drama series for Damages; and The United States of Tara's Toni Collette took home the award for best actress in a comedy series. Other winners included Lost's Michael Emerson, 24's Cherry Jones, Grey Gardens' Jessica Lange, Pushing Daisies' Kristin Chenoweth, and Two and a Half Men's Jon Cryer. The catchphrase of the night was "pulling a Kanye," naturally. [People, Us]
• Mischa Barton just isn't a morning person... or perhaps she's having dental issues again. A source from her CW show, The Beautiful Life, says she's often so out of it in the mornings that she holds up filming, and she'll stare into her coffee for minutes on end, mumbling, "Who will fix my coffee? I need someone to fix my coffee." [P6]
• Courtney Love lost it when a bathroom intruder caught her with her pants down at the T magazine party at the Standard the other night. Love supposedly screamed that the man had attacked her and tried to have him ejected. "I never wanted to see Courtney Love on the toilet," says the unlucky guy. "It wasn't a pretty sight. I just wanted to get out of there." [P6]
• David Hasselhoff was hospitalized after another booze bender. Or maybe he was just still celebrating the America's Got Talent finale? [TMZ, E!]
• Poor Ashley Dupre: Russell Simmons was planning to bring her as his guest to Tommy Hilfiger's Fashion Week party last week. But then Tommy told Russell that she wasn't welcome and he had to disinvite her. [P6]
• It looks like Samantha Jones is getting married in the Sex and the City sequel. Or then again, this could be some sick and twisted fake-out move by the movie's producers. [3AM]
• The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Danielle Staub tried to talk to Martha Stewart at Us Weekly's "25 Most Stylish New Yorkers" party last week, but Martha ignored her. [MSNBC]
• Gossip Girl's Taylor Momsen has a record contract with Interscope, but she has to pony up 10 percent of her paycheck to the label if she takes on any acting jobs with "musical elements." Better be careful, Little J. XOXO. [TMZ]
• Sean "Diddy" Combs may bail from Warner Music when his contract is up in April and release his next album, "Last Train to Paris," on Interscope. [P6]
• Paula Abdul had to be coaxed onto the stage to present with Kathy Griffin at the VH1 Divas concert on Thursday night. Apparently, Paula's a little sensitive following her departure from American Idol. Or maybe it's because Kathy has joked Paula is a "junkie" with a "Vicodin problem." [NYDN]
• Is Amanda Bynes dating "Day and Nite" singer Kid Cudi? He's been bragging that she's his girlfriend; but Bynes is staying mum. [NYDN]
• Family Guy creator Seth McFarlane is quite the ladykiller. (Incidentally, he used to date Amanda Bynes and Dollhouse's Eliza Dushku.) McFarlane had multiple women throwing themselves at him at a pre-Emmy party Friday night. Further proof that women love the nerds. [NYDN]
• John Travolta is likely to testify in the trial of two men accused of trying to extort $25 million from the actor. [AP, TMZ, Us]
• Gisele is getting her helicopter pilot's license. This can't possibly be more dangerous than Angelina Jolie flying. [TMZ]
• It looks like Chelsea Handler has reunited with her boyfriend/boss. [P6]
• Actress Zooey Deschanel married Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard on Saturday. [People]
