What is this country coming to when a child can't direct air traffic at JFK without causing a big todo?

In Barack Obama's America, when your child is on winter break from school and you take him to work with you because neither our government nor most of our employers provide child care of any kind for working people, and then you have a little fun with him, it is suddenly a federal incident!

The FAA has suspended the controllers involved while they investigate and even the union won't defend the harmless fun of the air traffic equivalent of letting your kid sit on your lap and "steer" the car. Here is a sneak peak of the investigation's findings: it was adorable.
