Last Friday, New York Times restaurant critic Sam Sifton wrote that he would be eating at KFC today. So naturally, Eater "posted operatives at every branch of KFC in Manhattan." And caught Sifton in the act! Scared yet, media people?

What can we learn from this?

1. It's funny to see fancy Sam Sifton's serious face as he contemplates his big ass bag of KFC. What wine goes with that biscuit, Sam? LOL!
2. Eater alleges that Sifton was eating the infamous Double Down sandwich—but said sandwich is not evident in the photos. This will go down as one of the great journalistic tragedies of our age.
3. If you are a famous media person, any indication that you may appear in public somewhere could result in a level of blog stalking that will seriously creep you the fuck out. But you knew that already.
