Earlier today, Gawker.TV discussed exactly why Glee hasn't impressed us since it returned from its mid-season hiatus. Tonight's episode, with it's after-school special air of self-acceptance, was worth little more than the airtime given to Jane Lynch.

There isn't very much else to say about tonight's episode. The father-son issue of two young men who feel as though they never knew their respective fathers, while poignant, feels out of place in a show that includes a sappy music number in between soft subplots every 12 minutes. Entertaining? In a way, yes. Sustainable in the long term? In many ways, absolutely not.
