I think it's awesome that she does so much work with the USO. Really. I doubt a huge percentage of the military enjoys her music, but it's still a very nice thing to do.
@secretagentman: she sings shitty, country-influenced pop (and not much anymore). But she was as (still is?) something of a sex symbol, so...
Probably rock stars or rappers—people that are currently successful—that the military would actually like to see perform.

You can tell that that boy is as gay as Christmas from a mile away...so I'm not so sure they "hit it off" in that way...

she would seem to have pushed her plate away, still heaped with food. Some chef labored away at that seemingly simple spaghetti dish, using millions of dollars' worth of criminally overvalued ingredients, paid for by us. She might as well have thrown shoes at every one of those sailors and us ...
