MySpace—remember that?—just unveiled a new logo. A clean, sans-serif bat signal to all the cool kids who left for Facebook: Come back! We're hip; we're with it. We listen to your independent rock and roll music.

According to TechCrunch, MySpace VP Mike Macadaan said the logo reflected that "MySpace is a platform for people to be whatever they want , so we've decided to give them the space to do it." Oh, we thought that empty space signified what MySpace will be in 10 years.
