Randy Quaid and Crazy Wife Seek Refugee Status in Canada
Actor/squatter Randy Quaid and his wife, Evi, are seeking refugee status in Canada. Evi told the CBC, "We feel our lives are in danger," and referenced "murdered" actors Heath Ledger and David Carradine, who were friends with Randy.
The Quaids were arrested on Thursday in Vancouver after police responded to an "incident" on a street corner. Given the couple's odd history, we can only guess what that "incident" was. Evi told the CBC that "Randy has known eight close friends murdered in odd, strange manners ... We feel that we're next."
The couple are wanted on $500,000 bench warrants for allegedly squatting in their former home in California back in September. What a shame. Randy had a nice run with National Lampoon's.
