The liberal Media Matters has done its inevitable grunt work of detailing Fox News personalities' involvement in this year's election, and finds that more than 30 of them have supported the GOP and its candidates. Who coulda guessed?

You can read the Media Matters index of each personality's particular endorsements, fundraisers, speeches and instances of on-air support here. Some are pretty obvious, like those of possible presidential candidates Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Santorum. Others are more ground-level, like "national security analysts" and "military analysts" hosting local fundraisers for the Republican party.

That said, duh. Does Fox News itself even bother to label its analysts and contributors as non-partisan actors objectively breaking down the news for viewers? Perhaps they do, but with a wink, because everyone in the country has probably gotten the joke after the last 15 years or so of their existence. And now that MSNBC is explicitly liberal — at least during primetime — they surely have a few of these folks on the payroll or regular contributors list too! People get it.
